The Festival Camper Van
Saturday 24th September, 10:00-17:00
Pay What You Can
We welcome back the South West writer development charity, Literature Works, with their one-on-one Advice Surgeries for emerging writers and grassroots literature projects. These sessions were hugely popular last year and this time they will be taking place in the festival camper van! There are five slots spread through the day. To book yours click on this link which will take you to the booking page and full details.
These surgeries give you the opportunity to discuss your writing project or idea. Literature Works will give guidance and make suggestions about where to go next, available opportunities and networks, sources of support, how to promote yourself as a writer, funding opportunities and all sorts of other professional support. Please note that these sessions are not for giving feedback on your writing.
The Literature Works Advice Surgeries are Pay What You Can, prioritising inclusion over income. The Literature Works team invests time and resources into preparing for the sessions and estimates that they have a commercial value of at least £50, or an estimated concessionary of £25 per session. We ask that you pay what you feel able to contribute towards this cost. To do this, you can modify the suggested price on booking.
Once you have booked your place, you will have an opportunity to let Literature Works know in advance what you are working on what you would like to discuss at the session.
